We are very pleased to report that once again we have been award the AA 5 Star Highly Commended award for 2010/11, which is awarded to the top 10% of 5 star accommodation. Its so lovely to have our efforts recognised by such an award, and we are once again very proud!
Well we're drawing to the end of our 2010 season now, and will be closing for a break at the end of the month. It was such a pleasure meeting all the new guests this year, and wonderful to see so many previous guests come back to stay too! Thank you to you all for your custom and kind comments, and we look forward to welcoming you to Ramsey House again in 2011.

Where is the time going??
Wow I can't believe where the time has gone. No posts for ages on Blogger, and it seem like only a couple of weeks ago we had the new ducks! That's summer season for you! Time flies when you're busy!!
Well since then, we had two more call ducks, a silver brown pair who are this years ducklings. Daisy and Dudley were not happy at having to share their pond, never mind the Duck House too, but they have all made their peace and settled in as one big happy duck family....
Even the dog has agreed to keep the peace, and enjoys playing at being 'Sheepdog' and herds them into the Duck House with them each evening!!
So, Summer is well and truly upon us now, and *apparently* we are due the hottest August since 1929!! What better excuse do you need to come and visit us? We still have some availability in August, including the Bank Holiday Weekend, and a couple of options for a week stay, which gets you 10% off our rates.
Pop on our website www.ramseyhouse.co.uk or give us a call on 01437 720321 to see what we have available for you or for more information on Ramsey House.
Hoping to see you soon!

The ducks have landed!
We are delighted to welcome two new additions to Ramsey House! Daisy (an apricot white Call Duck) and her beau (a white male Call Duck - yet to be named) now reside in our pond for much of the day. This means that the morning race for the window tables in the restaurant has now reached new heights! And the new Duck House is beyond cute....
